Don’t you think our feet which bear all body weight require some better alternative in form of sports socks. There are six main parts of sports socks; each part is carful knitted on special machines to create best performance socks.
Cuff: is upper open part of socks, Cuffs are ribbed for a snug comfortable fit, and insurance that socks didn’t come down during intense workout.
Leg: area of the socks provides compression to leg and reduce tiredness and pain.
Heel: Terry thickening knitting used on heel result is increase durability, absorb moisture and reduce impact. Heel area has Y shaped design which covers all heel area.
Instep: is specially knit in mesh patterns to ensure super breathability, quick dry and ventilation to control moisture and keep your foot cool and dry.
Sole: area is designed like curve shape to compress and support feet natural arch shape.
Toe: is also made of terry thickening knitting to absorb moisture and reduce impact on toe. Lower part of toe area have high fraction to reduce slipping.
Common material used in making of sports athletics socks are Cotton, Nylon, Spandex & Coolmax. Usually differ material combination are used in making a sock. Normally socks has stretch so only one size for women and one size for men fit all normal foot sizes. The types of socks are also differentiating as per length of leg area and divided into five types.
Invisible Socks: or loafer socks have no small cuff, when wear hide in shoes, and only give inner foot protection. These are normally used for casual wear and also called no show socks.
Lower Ankle Socks: when wear their cuffs are below ankle area, and usually used in summer for badminton, tennis & squash. These can also be wearing for casual use.
Over Ankle Socks: when wear their cuffs are little above ankle area. These stocks are ideal for spring and summer seasons can be used for walking, jogging, running, badminton, tennis, & squash. Over ankle socks are ideal using with cropped pants during summer season.
Athletics Socks: cuffs height is at mid calf after wear. These stocks are ideal to use with shorts or Bermudas for walking, jogging or running, casual wear and outdoor play like cricket & football. These can be wearing both in summer & winter depends upon the thickness and material used and ideal for outdoor adventures like cycling, hiking & trekking.
